Donald was born in Flint, Michigan at home on September 27, 1941, the youngest of seven children born to Frank and Cecelia (Szymanski) Zaneske. He married Rose-Marie Eder on November 30, 1963. She preceded him in death on August 26, 1987. Donald worked for the City of Flint for 31 years as an Electrician. He held a Master Electrician license. He was a talented woodworker and made many beautiful furniture pieces for his family. He had many hobbies including model trains and ships. He enjoyed genealogy and was proud of his Polish heritage. His greatest joy was time spent with his family and being a grandpa. He was our family’s book of knowledge; our answer man could fix anything and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Stanley, John and Robert, and three sisters Veronica, Irene and Theresa. |
