KALININ, Richard David – of Davison, MI, age 71, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2023. Cremation has taken place. A Private Celebration of Rick’s Life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, in Rick’s memory.
Rick was born in Detroit, MI on September 23, 1951, son of the late Anthony and Helen (Killewald) Kalinin. He married Deborah “Deb” Robinson on August 21, 1971, in Ortonville, MI. Rick retired from trucking in 2016 after more than 45 years of service. He enjoyed attending classic car shows, watching sports on television and spending time with his family.
Rick is survived by his wife, Deborah “Deb” Kalinin; 3 children, Richard (Brandi) Kalinin, Valerie (Dwayne Lile) Kalinin and Nicholas Kalinin; 2 grandchildren, Corena Kalinin and Wade Kalinin; brother, Robert (Elaine) Kalinin; sister-in-law, Judy Kalinin; 4 nieces; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Helen Kalinin; 2 siblings, Anthony Kalinin and Paula Kalinin; nephew, Bobby Kalinin.
