ELTON, Theodore C. - Of Fenton, formerly of Flint, age 72, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. John Catholic Church, 600 North Adelaide, Fenton,
Father Jim Rolph officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 1-4pm and 6-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Monday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Elton will be at the church 10am Tuesday until the time of the Mass.
Theodore was born in Flint on June 21, 1942 to the parents of Clayton and Antonia (Krusyna) Elton. On December 9, 2000 he married Dorothy Meriam at St. John's Catholic Church.
He was a member of the Fenton Knights of Columbus 7418 Fenton Council.
Surviving are wife, Dorothy Grayson-Elton;
children, Patty (Carl) Hopp and Theodore "Scott" Elton;
grandchildren, Brandi, Tyler, Julie and Michael Hopp;
great-granddaughter, Raylee.
sister, Edie Adams;
step-children, Craig (Vicki) Grayson, James Grayson, Jayne (Robert) DePotter and Cynthia Blatz;
and 8 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Antonia Elton and sister, Phyllis.
