WILLIAMS, Doris Jean – Of Swartz Creek, age 93, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at Courtyard Manor of Swartz Creek.
Funeral service will be held 12Noon Thursday, April 2, 2026, at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Thursday, April 2 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Jean’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, her favorite charity.
Jean was born in Houston, Arkansas on April 24, 1932, the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Rainwater) Lee. She married Carlis “Pat” Williams and they were married for 68 years. Jean enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was a longtime member of North Baptist Church.
Surviving are children, Carla (Ray) Caraway, Keith (Theresa) Williams and Sandra (Scott) Lundeen;
Grandchildren, Marcus (Holly), Meagan, Carly (Renard), Ross (Darian), Graham, Chad (Jenna) and Kyle (Maggie);
And 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Carlis “Pat” Williams.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to friends and neighbors that helped our mother, especially Fran, Jennifer, Cindy, David and the staff at Courtyard Manor.
