JENROW, Raymond Allen - age 80, passed away peacefully January 22, 2022 at Argentine Care Center. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Tuesday and 10 - 11 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Ray was born August 1, 1941 to Raymond LeRoy Jenrow and Milicent Ruby (Taylor) Jenrow in Fenton, MI. The family moved to Argentine for a time then to Gaines where Ray graduated from Gaines High School in 1960. Ray worked 34 years for General Motors and was also a member of the Gaines Fire Department where he served for 25 years, 9 of those as the Fire Chief. He married Jacqueline Rose (Sayen) on June 14, 1986. They have 5 children, Duane (Tammy) Jenrow of New Lothrop, Steven (Deborah) Jenrow of Corunna, Kathy (David) King of Holt, Michelle (Mark) Mattson of Waterford and Dawn (Dean) Selby of Sparta, TN. Ray also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; as well as many, many other friends and family members from the Brooks and Sayen families. Ray was a lifelong hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family; especially attending the grandkids and great-grandkids' events.
