MERRILL, Claudia Leslie - age 77, of Fenton, died October 13, 2021. Services will be 11 AM Tuesday November 30 at The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Road, Fenton. Visitation will be 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday, November 30 at church. Private interment in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society. Claudia was born on August 29, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of Clyde and Annie (Walters) White. She was a devoted member of The Rock Church. Claudia attended beauty school and was a hairdresser for many years. She worked as an EMT for Holly Village Ambulance and worked as a dispatcher for Fenton Police Department. Claudia is survived by sister, Nancy Selden of Swartz Creek; daughters, Kimberly (Reginald) Hoskins of Redford, MI, Christine (Steve) Grzemkowski of Davison; grandsons, Stephen Grzemkowski, Joshua Hoskins; nephews, Mike Pluta, Jeffrey Pluta; niece Jennifer Grimes; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bertrand Merrill; and former husband and father of her daughters, Bruce E. Coverdill.
