Hasna A. Ghantous went to meet her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2022.

A rosary service will be held at 7pm on Friday April 29,2022 with visitation from 5-7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday April 30,2022 with visitation starting at 10:00 am till the time of mass at Our Lady of Lebanon Maronite Catholic Church, 4133 Calkins Rd in Flint Township Reverend Fr. Pierre Bassil officiating.

Hasna was born in Zgartha, Lebanon and was one of seven girls born to parents Assad and Nijmee Saghir.

As a young adult she worked in Beirut as a nurse. She had a kind and generous spirit and loved taking care of others. During her time as a nurse she met and married Jamil Ghantous. They would later come to the United States, settle in Flint, MI and start a family.

She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Flint and Our Lady of Lebanon Catholic Church.

Hasna enjoyed traveling, walking to stay fit, cooking, making pastries and socializing with family and friends any chance she could. She loved people, she loved life but mostly she loved her family and her faith.

She will be greatly missed by all especially her family who include her husband Jamil, daughters Yvette Ghantous and Vikki Haley and grandchildren Nicholas, Danielle and Jacob Haley, and many nephews and nieces and cousins in the US, Lebanon, Australia, France and Mexico and sister Montaha Doiuhey in Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Abouraad, sister Rose Sfeir, sister Hawa El-Bayeh, sister Julia Morous and sister Kathryn Frangie, nephew Bakhous El-Bayeh and nephew Sarkis El-Bayeh.

The family would like to thank the doctors at Pulmonary Associates P.C. as well as the staff at Hurley Medical Center, Select Specialty Hospital and McLaren Hospital.

Special thanks to those family and friends who were instrumental in her care and never left our side Fadi Ghantous, Courtney Jackson, Katrina Gagne, Jamie Woods and Jessica Myers we love you and will never forget all that you have done for us.
