Struble, Bruce 1/25/1953 - 5/6/2021 Mio Bruce Edward "Ed" Struble of Mio, 68, formerly of Flint and Spring Hill Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City. Bruce was born in Flint, Michigan, January 25, 1953 to Bruce L. and Donna (Simmons) Struble. Growing up, he spent many summers at the family cabin in Mio instilling in him a great love for the outdoors. Bruce really enjoyed cooking, gardening, planting flowers, plants, and even trees, from palm to apple trees! Bruce enjoyed hosting dinners/cookouts for family and friends as he was quite the cook! He loved nothing more than spending time with his family riding go-karts, motorcycles and four wheelers. Nothing gave him more joy than seeing his children and grandchildren having a fun time. He will forever be remembered for his tales of "Bloody Bones" which now have been carried down to the next generation! Bruce will be deeply missed by his cherished family; Sean (Carrie) Struble, Vaughn (Karen) Struble and Patrick (Brenda) Struble; his sister Kim (Dan) Verhelle; his first wife, Diane Taylor; special friend, Lori Babisz; his grandchildren Heather (Jason) Hains, Drew Struble, Mikal Struble, Logan Struble, Ciera Struble, Travis Struble, Garrett Struble, Reese Struble, Nicole Matheny, Abby Matheny, and Brianna Liedenfrost as well as four great grandchildren, Jordan Hains, Ridley, Malakai, and Elle Struble; nephew Steven Struble; two nieces, Michelle Wentz and Tamara Gibson and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Mike Struble, Greg Struble Sr. and nephew, Gregory Struble II. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life ceremony will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Cremation Services North, Traverse City.
