JONES, Ms. Geraldine – Of Swartz Creek, formerly of Bridgeport age 69, died Saturday, October 16, 2021 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Edward Jackson officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 12 p.m. – 8 p.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021 and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Geraldine was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 27, 1952, the daughter of the late T.V. and LeVator (Woods) Martin.
She was a wonderful, beautiful person with a big heart and was very selfless and family oriented. She was a giver and had a beautiful soul.
Surviving are children, Lensley Martin, Julius Martin, Tamara Martin, Rosco Martin and Samantha Jones;
grandchildren, Lensley Martin, Derrick Martin, Jerrkia McDougall, Caleb Bentley, Jayden Martin, Darius Thurman, Jaliesa Martin, Zeontre Buckley, DeAnka Jones, Jarod Jones, Gavin Jones and Galvin Jones;
many great-grandchildren;
siblings, Gwinn Martin, Ernest Martin, Alfonso Martin and Annie R. Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Aileen, Rosetta, Iola and Katherine.
