BERRY, Robert D. – of Genesee, age 76, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at McLaren – Flint. A Funeral Service, with military honors, will be held 11 AM Friday, September 30, 2022, at World Outreach Center, 2275 N. Irish Road, Davison, MI 48423; Bishop Jerry W. Pruett officiating. Private Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-3 PM and 5-8 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday at World Outreach Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Outreach Center, in Robert’s memory.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on July 11, 1946, son of the late Orson and Lois (Kifer) Berry. Robert proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1965-1968. He married Sandra Inman on October 3, 1993. Robert retired from Pepsi after 37 years of service.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; children, Lori (Danny) Dimich, Bobby Johnson, David (Katrina) Johnson, Aaron (Kellie) Johnson and Andrew Johnson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Strzynski, Diane (Jim) Pavlovich and Debbie Berry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Joe Strzynski.
