PETRY, Mark Alan - Age 63, of Fenton Twp., died Wednesday August 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, August 23, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Tara Sutton officiating. Burial will follow in Halsey Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 1PM-7PM Sunday and 12PM until time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to the family c/o Sharp Funeral Homes. Mark was born July 24, 1958 in Flint, the son of Ralph Willard Petry and Norma Jean (Hendricks) Smith. Mark was self employed as a roofer for many years and currently worked for NTH Consultants. He enjoyed playing basketball when he was younger and was a fan of all Michigan professional sports teams. Mark loved to spend time with his friends and family watching football, playing euchre, telling jokes, and making people laugh. He was a member of the Fenton Moose lodge for many years. Surviving are: daughter, Nicole (Chad Clifford) Petry of Swartz Creek; granddaughter, Isabella Petry of Lapeer, Lilliana Clifford of Swartz Creek; parents, Norma (Harold) Smith of Fenton Twp., brother, Tracy Petry of Argentine; sister, Bonnie (Everette) Ostrom of Davison.
