IVES, Mary Lou – of Birch Run, age 80, died Monday, January 27, 2025 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 1, 2025 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run, Michigan. Scott Huber officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mary Lou was born December 14, 1944 in Flint, Michigan to the late Robert and Mary (Rolfe) Kettler. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Beecher High School with the class of 1963. On October 24, 1964 she married Randolph Ives in Flint, Michigan. Mary Lou was a member of the Red Hat Society, TOPS, and the Birch Run Moose Lodge #2426. She enjoyed going to the casino, garage saleing, and collecting dolls and antiques. Mary Lou had a sweet tooth and loved Volkswagen bugs. However, her greatest joy in life was her family, especially all her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Husband of 60 years, Randy Ives; Daughters, Mary (Phil) Williams, Sheila (Denny) Harris, Randi Lynn (Scott) Huber; Grandchildren, Madeline (Nick) Tanner, Brandon (Alyssa) Januszewski, Sarah Williams, Kyle (Jessica) Harris, Cody (Gina) Harris, Kylie (Dustin) Stallings, Mitchell (Mikayla) Williams, Caden (Kendall) Huber, Jack (Paden) Huber; Great Grandchildren, Daphne Tanner, Penelope Tanner, Breslin Harris, Harper Januszewski, Reagan Harris, Scottie Stallings, Remi Lou Stallings; her Dog, Shorty; many nieces and nephews.
