Steve Julius Strzynski of Davison, formerly of Imlay City, age 67 died Thursday September 22, 2022 at his residence. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday September 26, 2022 at the Hansen Funeral Home, Downtown Davison, Fr. Dieudonne Ntakarutimana, Celebrant. Family with receive visitors from 2-6 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Steve was born in Detroit Michigan on October 9, 1954 the son of the late Aubrey & Helen (Moss) Strzynski and has resided in the Davison area the last fifteen years, spending most of his life in Imlay City and Lapeer County. He was joined in marriage to Betty L. Lopez on December 3, 1977. Steve was a graduate of Imlay City High School Class of 1974, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed all types of sporting events especially the Detroit Tigers and the University of Michigan teams. Steve was a retired General Motors Pontiac Division
employee spending over thirty-one years with the company.
He leaves his wife of over forty-four years Betty, his children: Nina and husband Jeff Black, Brandon and wife Brynn Strzynski, Erica and husband Steve Graska, and his nine loving grandchildren. Also surviving is sister Linda and husband Donnie Hill, brothers: Ray and wife Bev Strzynski, Wayne and wife Margie Carello, and a host of extended family and friends.
