VERNIER, Donald Fredrick - Age 68, of Flint Township, died Sunday, January 24, 2021. Per his family's request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Arid Club, 715 E. 1st St., Flint, MI 48503.
Donald was born September 10, 1952 in Flint. He was a 1970 graduate of Flint Central High School. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. He married Mary Lou Jerisk December 3, 2011 in Flint. Donald had been employed by Hamady Bros. in the Warehouse and he also cleaned floors at Kmart and Walmart. He was a member of AA and has been sober for 23 years. He was a member and past president of the Arid Club for 25 years.
Surviving are: his wife Mary Lou; sisters, Diana Woodring of Davison and Mary Hittle of Flint; brothers, Jim (Kathy) Vernier of Davison, David (Jan) Vernier of Davison, and Bob Vernier of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
