Rita died peacefully at home. She lived a long, fulfilling life as a mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and friend. Her family was the centerpiece of her world. She loved to travel, learn, meet people and to give back in many ways, especially as a volunteer at the Red Cross and to people who needed a helping hand. In keeping with her private nature, there will be no public service.
