HAGERL, Helen M. – of Clio, age 92, died peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, December 13, 2021, at Messiah Lutheran Church – 520 Butler St., in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Private burial will be held in Eastlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 9AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
Helen was born January 23, 1929, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Edward and Helen (Voss) Klatt. She married Frank Hagerl and he preceded her in death on August 14, 2002. Helen was a waitress most of her life. She was a faithful member of Messiah Lutheran Church.
Surviving are: Sisters: Carolyn (Sid) Handy, Barbara (Greg) Auclair, Maxine (Roy) Thompson, and Lora (Robert) Miller; Many loving nieces and nephews. Helen was also preceded in death by: Daughter, Christine Hagerl; Brothers: Ed, Arthur, Fred, and Ben; Sisters: Kathleen, Trudy, Marie, and Geri.
