Virginia “Ginny” Landry - born on October 24, 1953, found eternal peace while at home on March 9, 2014 surrounded by friends and family. A former resident of Davison and Emergency Nurse at Hurley Medical Center, she had been a resident of Las Vegas, NV for the past 19 years where she continued to change lives as a designated Trauma Nurse.
Ginny leaves behind her loving daughter, Nickole Newlin (Joey) of Lapeer, MI; Her only grandchild, Riley Newlin of Lapeer, MI; four siblings, John Kelyman, Marilyn Grubbs, Joan Gajewski, and Charles Kelyman; as well as a network of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in her honor at 5:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be from 3 PM until time of service. Please come share in the warmth and light of this adventurous woman’s life.
Ginny was a lover of all animals so In lieu of flowers, the family ask that a donation be made in her name to either Bruised But Not Broken Canine Rescue or the Lapeer County Animal Shelter.
