MONTAGUE, Barbara Karen - Age 72, of Fenton, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy St, Fenton. Pastor Jeff Jaggers officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow her funeral service. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Fenton United Methodist Church.
Barb was born December 5, 1953 in Holly, the daughter of George Wesley and Barbara Jean (Burden) Montague. She was a 1971 graduate of Holly High School. She had resided in Fenton since 1971 coming from Holly. She retired from Crestmont Nursing Care Facility in Fenton.
Surviving are: her sister, Bonnie Montague of Fenton; sisters-in-law, Donna Montague of Grand Blanc, Dolly Montague of Flint, and Ruth Montague of Portage; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Barbara Montague; sisters, Brenda Montague and Darlene Lapham; brothers, Larry, Gary, Doug, Rick, George, Jr., and Daryl Montague.
