KRUP, Dorothy L. – Of Clio, age 89, died Sunday, February 8, 2015
at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Chaplain Don Bennett officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Dorothy was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 14, 1925
and was a resident of Clio since 1958.
She married Henry Krup on June 8, 1946 in Chicago and he preceded her in death on July 3, 2002.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Mark) Cantley of Flint and
Susan (Howard) Grunin of McLean, VA;
along with five grandchildren, Rebecca (Jim) Hauxwell of Clio,
Jason Grunin of Tulsa, OK,
Justin Grunin of McLean, VA;
Patrick Krup of Howard City, MI and
Andy (Lauren) Krup of Amarillo, TX;
four great-grandchildren of Clio, Brandi, Meghan, Booth and Jewell.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Henry and son, Thomas.
