DINNAN, Michael “Mike”– of Lapeer, age 67, went to be with his Savior on January 17, 2024. A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Monday, January 22, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Jeremy Lazzell officiating. Private burial will be at Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024 and one hour prior to the service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the CAA Research Program or a charity of one’s choice.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on February 25, 1956, son of Lloyd and Joanne (Kalakay) Dinnan. He married Tina Piccobotta on April 7, 1979 in Flint, MI and they had three children. Mike ran and coached Lapeer Boxing Club for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman. Mike was happiest when he was hunting, fishing or trapping. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mike leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years, Tina; daughters; Michele Van Laan and Mia (Jon) Horst, three grandchildren, Emma, Sophie and Zeke. Mother Joanne (Ken) Dinnan; siblings; Bob (Julie), Dave (Brenda), John (Angela) Dinnan, Karen (Greg) Beckman, sister-in-law, Debb Dinnan, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Mitch; father Lloyd and brother, Pat.
