FORSYTHE, Connie Louise (Barry) – of Burton, MI, age 74, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 6340 Roberta Street, Burton, MI 48509; Rev. Fr. Denis Spitzley and Fr. Andrew Czajkowski concelebrant. A private inurnment will be in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 10 AM until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, in Connie’s memory.

Connie was born in Flint, MI on November 11, 1947, daughter of late John and Pauline (Hackney) Barry. She married Dan Forsythe on August 16, 1969 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint, MI. Connie was a devoted member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, serving as a eucharistic minister, lector, altar server, volunteer for funeral dinners and member of the Liturgical Commission. She loved camping and making arts and crafts. Connie was committed to family and Christmas parties were special.

Connie is survived by her husband, Dan Forsythe; grandson, Christian G. Forsythe; sister, Paula (Dennis) Whipple of Mesick, MI; brother-in-law, Roy McDowell and friend Janice; many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Steven M. Forsythe; brother, David Barry; 2 sisters, Peggy McDowell and Nancy Glover.
