David Earl Nordman of Cadillac passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at home. He was 52.
David was born December 11, 1971 in Flint, Michigan.
David graduated from Carman-Ainsworth High School in 1991. After to moving to the Cadillac
area in 1995 he served as a Paid on Call Firefighter for the City of Cadillac and was a fulltime
EMT for NorthFlight for many years. David was currently employed at Akwell in Cadillac and
had also worked at other factories in Cadillac over the years.
He had several hobbies including: hunting, fishing, coin collecting, bird watching, building
model cars, computers, mechanically working on cars and most recently he was designing his
own T-shirts, coffee mugs and other merchandise for sale on Etsy.
He is survived by his sons: Christopher Nordman, Chase Crosby, and Eli Nordman all of Cadillac; his mother, Nancy (Hofmann) Nordman of Flushing; siblings: Scott (Jamie) Nordman of Perry and Haley Yencer of Flushing.
David was preceded in death by his father, Gregg William Nordman in 2013; his brother-in-law, Eric Yencer and his grandparents.
