BYCE, Helen B. – of Flint, age 87, passed away February 23, 2015 at Stonegate Health Campus. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Rev. Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Friday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Helen was born in Flint, MI on January 30, 1928, daughter of the late Harry and Thressa (Lee) Griffin. She married Jim Byce in Flint on May 15, 1954. Helen was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Flint. She loved golfing, working with ceramics, traveling but most of all, her family.
Helen is survived by husband, Jim; children, Greg (Karen), Cindy (Jody) Robison and Dan (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jamie (Tom) Harmon, Kellie (Brent) LaFramboise, Brett (Becky) Robison, Sarah Byce, Sarah (Bob) Russeau, Zach (Nikki) Adcock; eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings, Marion, Ruth, Dick, Grace and Jack. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Stonegate Heath Campus for their wonderful care.
