ROSAS, Conchita “Connie” (Suarez) – of Davison, MI, age 81, passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2316 West Coldwater Road, Flint, MI 48505; Father Thomas Firestone celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in Dawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM Monday at Allen Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in Connie’s memory.
Connie was born in Port Huron, MI on May 10, 1945, daughter of the late Andres and Pearl (Duenez) Suarez. She married Ismael Rosas on June 15, 1968, and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2013. Connie devoted many years of her working life to Reid’s Drug Store in Davison, where she became a familiar and cherished part of the community. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a devoted member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. She generously shared her time and talents by serving on the Altar Society and was especially involved in the church’s Fiesta celebration, proudly honoring and celebrating her Mexican heritage. Connie found great joy in the beauty of her flower gardens, taking pride in nurturing each bloom. She also treasured the friendships she made through Our Lady of Guadalupe, especially the wonderful times spent having lunch, sharing conversation, and socializing with the ladies of the church. Above all, Connie cherished her family. The time she spent surrounded by those she loved was among her greatest blessings, and her warmth, faith, kindness, and loving spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
Connie is survived by 2 sons, Christopher Rosas and Michael Rosas; grandson, Joseph Rosas; 2 brothers, Joe Suarez and Andy (Darlene) Suarez; sister, Anita Suarez; brother-in-law, Merle Withrow; nephew, Justin (Nikki) Suarez; 5 nieces, Laura (Ray) Belincky, Shannon (Dan) Withrow-Blackmore, Amanda (Clarence) Wendell, Jennifer and Jill Robinson; many other loving family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Pearl Suarez; husband, Ismael Rosas; 2 sisters, Mary Suarez and Adelia Withrow; brother, John Suarez; nephew, Todd Wright and niece, Kimberly Sterling.
