On Sunday, August 15, 2021, our loved one, Fred Loren McClellan, of Grand Blanc, Michigan left his earthly house to be with God. He was surrounded by loving family and went peacefully from this world. He lived 88 years that he chose to live joyfully.

Fred was born June 9, 1933 and grew up in Milo, Missouri. He loved to share stories about his life in a small town where everyone cared for everyone. Fred was an avid sportsman, playing baseball, basketball, football and golf. He graduated from Nevada, MO high school and Fort Scott Junior College and then served two years in the United States Army.

Fred married Juanita (Werst) McClellan in 1956. They moved to Michigan and lived happily until her passing in 1974. Fred married Mary (Pohly) McClellan in 1980, and they had 41 beautiful years together. He loved aviation and his work as a pilot, mechanic and business owner. For fifty years, Fred maintained light aircraft at his business at Bishop Airport. He was a man of deep Christian faith and was an active member and Elder of the Bristolwood Branch of the Community of Christ in Flint. He loved and was loved by so many. He was richly blessed.

There will be a celebration of Fred’s life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021. Fred will be in- terred with military honors at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. More details on time and place for the celebration of life will be published shortly.

Fred’s family loved him so much. His loving family included Wife, Mary McClellan; children: Mark (Nancy) McClellan, Donna Bourque, Brian (Marianne) Wright, Kathryn Roedel, Karen Wright-Voelker (Matthew). Grand children: Erik (Rachael) McClellan, Katherine McClellan, Ja- cob McClellan, Matthew Voelker, Zachary Voelker, Julia Roedel, Bridget Bourque. Great grand children: Hannah McClellan, Evelyn McClellan, Faye McClellan. Nieces and nephews: Connie (Robert) Kennedy, Beth (David) Prentice, Linda Pohly (Alan Branham), Sharon Pohly, Susan Franzen, Erin Franzen, Logan Franzen, Victoria Pohly, John (Sharon) Rohlo?, Jean Rohlo?, Loren Bruns, Char- lene (Mike) Johnson, Kevin (Debbie) McClellan.

Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Ollie McClellan; brothers Harold (Patricia) McClellan, Dean (Alvena) McClellan; Nephew, David McClellan; First wife, Juanita (Werst) Mc- Clellan.
