JENTZEN, William (Bill) Russell - Age 76, of Flint, died Sunday February 21, 2021. Funeral services will be held 3PM Friday, February 26, 2021, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.( A live stream of the service may be viewed on William's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Rev. Bill Jentzen Jr. and Rev. Leonard Marks officiating. Visitation will be held 3PM - 8PM Thursday and 1PM until time of service Friday. William was born May 6, 1944 in Flint, the son of Walter and Hazel (Waterman) Jentzen. Mr. Jentzen retired from General Motors, Truck and Bus plant with 30 years of service. He also worked for the Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) with 15 years of service. He loved bowling, hunting, rebuilding cars, playing cards and was an avid NASCAR fan. Surviving are: children, Angie (Timm) Marks of Carson City, MI, Billy "Bill" (Roberta) Jentzen of Flushing, Terry (Regina) Jentzen of Birch Run, Michelle (Steve) Stein of Flushing, Brant Klein of Clio, BJ Cokley of Clio; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and significant other, Betty Prast of Flint. He is also survived by his brother, Walter (Virginia) Jentzen of Flint; many nieces and nephews. William is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Hazel Jentzen; brother, Herold Jentzen and sister, Pat Stebbins. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
