HOWARD, Katherine Joan - age 79 of Fenton, passed away February 13, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, February 19, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430 with Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430 where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM Sunday evening. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM - 11 AM Monday at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Breast Cancer Awareness. Katherine was born May 22, 1944 in Flint, the daughter of John Edward and Beryl June (DeGraff) Dooley. Katherine retired from Oakland Community College and enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening and bowling. Surviving are: son, Jerl "Jerry" (Jill) Howard; daughter, Jeanette Howard; four grandchildren, Ashleigh Young, Isaiah Miller, Joshua Smith and Gabriella Howard; three great-grandchildren, Jayden Young, Azalea Miller, and Elliana Young. She was preceded in death by: her parents, John and Beryl Dooley and brother, Edward Dooley. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
