Maryann McGrath of Davison, age 66, died Tuesday February 14, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday February 23, 2023 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating: with Private burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 2-5 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions in Maryann’s memory to the family.
Maryann was born in Flint Michigan on April 15, 1956 the daughter of the late Clarence and Germaine (Durupt) Woodard and has resided in the Davison area since 1982. She was joined in marriage to Gary M. McGrath on November 24, 1974 and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2022. Maryann enjoyed spending time at home engulfed in one of her many video games. She had been employed by Chrysler Corporation until her retirement in 2018.
Surviving is daughter: Monica McGrath, son: Randy Manley, grandchildren: John Lepard, Justin Lepard, Marisah (Charles) Heiser, Ava Manley, and several other grandchildren. She also leaves great grandchildren: Auttumn, Charlotte, and Charlie. Also she surviving is brother: Norman Woodard, sister: Lana (Tom Ahearne) Grosinsky, mother-in-law: Lorene Eldridge and husband Howard, and a host of extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by Michael Woodard, Davy Woodard, Alain Woodard and wife Paige, nephew Harry Grosinsky, father-in-law Clement McGrath, brother-in-law Bruce McGrath and wife DeeDee.
