PIZZALA, Nadine Agnes (Lester) – of Burton, MI, age 86, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020. Cremation has taken place. No services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Garden Peninsula Historical Society and Museum, P.O. Box 6, Garden, MI 49835, in Nadine’s memory.
Nadine was born in Garden, MI on July 5, 1933, daughter of the late Edward and Nora (Lamkey) Lester. She married Virgil William Pizzala on August 20, 1955 in Garden, MI and he preceded her in death on June 29, 2019.
Nadine is survived by 3 children, Sheila (Bruce) Saunders, Debbie (Jim) McRill and Jeremy (Jessie) Pizzala; 8 grandchildren, Nicholas (Angie) McRill, Kyle (Michelle) McRill, Hillary (Brent) Stockel, Drake Saunders, Katlyn Saunders, Anthony Howell, Derrick Howell and Braxton Pizzala; 5 great-grandchildren, Brenden McRill, Cameron McRill, Riley McRill, Maaliyah Stockel and Taelin Stockel; son-in-law, Robert Howell; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Nora Lester; husband, Virgil William Pizzala; daughter, Mickey Howell and 3 siblings.
