STOKES, Nicholas James – of Davison, MI, age 33, passed away on October 18, 2022. A Memorial Service will be held 1 PM Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home; Pastor Jason Crum officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place immediately after the service in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for his children’s educational fund, checks payable to: Timothy or Bonnie Stokes .
Nicholas was born in Ann Arbor, MI on January 12, 1989, son of Timothy and Bonnie (Mayday) Stokes. He was a barber by trade. Nicholas loved fishing and hiking with his daughters at For-Mar and Richfield Park. He loved spending time with his girls.
Nicholas is survived by daughters, Sophia and Gabriella Stokes; the mother of their children, Juanita Stokes; parents, Timothy and Bonnie Stokes; sister, Sarah (Matthew) Iwanski; nephew, Luke Bessolo; grandparents, Janet Stokes and Elizabeth Bailey; Aunts and Uncles, Laura (Fred Allen) Elder, Sandie (Bob) Stokes, Laurie (Randy) Reed, David (Leslie) Stokes and James Mayday; cousins, Jason (Tricia) Elder, Jennifer (Chad) Roseberry, Joshua (Kelly) Elder, Chad Taylor, Sadie (Jason) Lynch and Cory Taylor, Kristen Stokes, Caitlin (Dan) Murdock, Kelsey Stokes, Kayla Mayday, Matthew Mayday and Ally Mayday; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Charles "Bud" Stokes and Douglas Mayday; aunt, Diane Burchett and uncle, Jim Stokes.
