Chester Lee “Chet” Bailey, age 83 of Grand Blanc, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020. He was born on May 14, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to parents Chester and Mabel Bailey. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1955 and later worked as a computer programmer for over 30 years at Buick and EDS. Following his retirement, he spent his winters in Jensen Beach, FL. He enjoyed bowling, golf, and photography. He was a wonderful father. Chester is survived by his children: James Bailey of Mt. Morris and Karen Bailey of Flint; grandson: Kyle Bailey; longtime companion: Sandy Nye. He was preceded in death by both parents; wife, Arbadella Bailey. The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association or the American Heart Association. He will be greatly missed. |
