Patricia Hosner, age 77, of Lapeer, passed away on January 25, 2023, with family by her side. She was born on November 21, 1945, in Pennsylvania to the late Kenneth and Florence Young. Patricia was a Certified Nurse Assistant for 36 years; a career that she was proud of. She was a devoted and loving caregiver, not only to her patients but to her family as well. Patricia and her husband Bruce made their home on Nepessing Lake. Patricia loved lake life! Fishing was a favorite hobby of hers. She was a social butterfly and quickly made friends with all their neighbors. Patricia also loved the occasional trip with friends and family to the Casino. Patricia was lovingly nicknamed ‘Bird Lady’. Her love and admiration for animals was only topped by the love of her family.
Patricia is survived by her cherished children David Hosner, Dedra (Robert) Palmer, Marlayna Hosner, and Poncho her Blue and Gold Macaw; adored grandchildren Kari, Courtney, Katie, Angel, Brenden, and Ryan; treasured great-grandchildren Sawyer, Jasper, and Killian; and dear brother Gerald (Candice) Young. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lynnette Hosner; husband of 36 years Bruce Hosner; aforementioned parents; grandson Garret Hobson; sister-in-law Dawn Wellington; and her best boy Lucky the Black Lab.
Friends may visit on Saturday, January 28th from 11-3 PM. A Time of Sharing will immediately follow on Saturday, January 28th at 3:00 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer.
