Helen Louise Whitehead 79 of Mount Morris, Michigan went to be with the Lord June 28, 2026.
Per her request there will be a direct cremation.
Memorial Service will be held at 1pm on Thursday July 9, 2026, at Colonial Baptist Church 5375 W. Mt Morris Road, Mt Morris Michigan 48458.
Visitation 11am until Service at the church.
Pastor Brian Southerland officiating.
Helen was born October 2, 1946, in Flint Michigan to Eleanor (Phillips) & Hubert Woodell.
She graduated from Beecher High School in 1964.
Helen worked in a donut shop where she met and then Married the Love of her life Robert (Bob) Whitehead on September 11, 1965, in Flint Michigan.
Helen began her career at Mount Morris Consolidated Schools as a Para Pro at Moore Elementary. Later retiring as a Librarian from Pinehurst Elementary in 2008.
Helen enjoyed crafts, playing cards & volunteering at the Freedom 5k. Helen loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids and great grandkids.
Helen leaves behind a daughter Lori & Joe Minterfering. Grandchildren John Minterfering, Brittany & Ken DuRussel, Rick & Keven Schickel, Ashley Templeton, Megan & Wes Wright. Great- Grandchildren Zayden, Jazlyn, Grace, Everly. One sister Betty Compeau. Daughter in law Leslie Whitehead. Many Nieces, Nephews & Cousins. Special Friends that were Loving and a great support for Helen.
Helen has now joined her Husband Robert (Bob). Son James (Jim). Brother Edward (Ed) Woodell. Parents Eleanor & Hubert Woodell in Gods Glory.
