COGSWELL-BOVE, Helen L. – of Clio, age 80, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 28, 2018 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Montrose Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 2PM until 8PM and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Helen was born December 17, 1937 in Montmorency Twp., Michigan to the late Berthold and Tillie (Radke) Buchler. She married William Cogswell August 2, 1963. He preceded her in death August 2, 1989. Helen later married John Bove June 11, 1994. He preceded her in death July 9, 2011. She was employed with GLC where she did embroidery for many years. Helen was a member of Saints Charles and Helena Catholic Church in Clio. She enjoyed catering, and baking. She was talented in creating wedding cakes. Helen also enjoyed embroidery, sewing, knitting, canning, bowling, and doll making. She had an extensive collection of ceramic dolls.
Surviving are: Children: Tim Cogswell (Tina Mancione), Dorine Liebengood, and Brian (Shannon) Cogswell; Grandchildren: Aaron (Emily) Cogswell, Kyle Cogswell, Ryan (Holly) Liebengood, Eric Liebengood, Amber (Jerry) Barker, and William (Nikki) Cogswell; Great grandchildren: William, Anne, Margaret, Walter, Dysen, Brennen, Cooper, Brady, Cruz, and Laken; Brother, Leonard Buchler; Sister, Sue (Jim) Carr; Special friend, Ellen Allan.
