Phillip Arbaugh of Lapeer, age 69, passed away April 13, 2023, at his home with his family at his side. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 701 Harsen Rd., Lapeer, MI 48446. Please bring your old cars and lawn chairs to help celebrate his favorite past time. Phil was an electrician by career, but a "Jack of all trades" by life. He was the builder, fixer, and problem solver for all of us. He loved his antique cars, car shows, and his car buddies. His non-sleeping hours were spent tinkering on his next project in his barn. Phil will be remembered for his smile, generosity, and love that he showed for everyone that he encountered. He loved his three girls more than life. He raised them to have strong morals, work ethic, and to be strong, independent women. The bond between Phil and his daughters was strengthened and will live on forever. In Phil's words, "I have three of the best daughters ever. I am so deeply proud of them." Phil will be missed immensely but will always live in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death four years ago by his wife of 49 years, Sheila Arbaugh. Phillip is survived by his three children, Kimberly (Ted) Persails, Taleesa Chambers, Sandra Ludwig, brother James (Judy) Chapman, sisters Wanda (Johnny) Guichard, Jannice (Edward) Schwab, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister-in-laws, Deanna and Pam Arbaugh, son-in-law, Michael Chambers, as well as very close friends |
