Phyllis and Joseph Macko were united in marriage on November 8, 1956 in Flint. Sadly, he preceded her in death in 1994. As a young woman Phyllis worked at A/C Spark Plug until she became a homemaker to her husband and six beautiful children. Phyllis enjoyed shopping, cooking, playing cards and watching her favorite shows, General Hospital, I Love Lucy and The Golden Girls. But most of all, she valued spending time with her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life.

She is survived by her loving children, Joseph (Denise) Macko, Timothy (Anne) Macko, Colleen Seaman, Stephen (Rhonda) Macko and Kathleen (Daniel) Peterson; daughter-in-law, Janet Macko; 16 grandchildren, Kristi (Dr. Andrew) Chacko, Ashley (Ryan) Aubry, Danielle Macko (Brian Bidwell), Haley Macko, Dr. Jonathan (Dr. Kendra) Maczko, Gregory Maczko (Ken Marlow), Joseph Macko, Dr. Laura (Dr. Ryan) Londorf, Kathryn Macko, Riley Macko, Alexandria Macko, Stanley, Delaney, Savannah, Marley Davis, and Jacob Peterson; 6 great grandchildren, Remington, Madilyn, Monroe, Finnick, Owen and Emma; brother-in-law, Kelly DeNicolo; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Phyllis was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Macko; son-in-law, Gregory Seaman; and two sisters, Dora DeNicolo and Antoinette Egner. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff at Regency of Grand Blanc and McLaren Hospice for the care and compassion provided to Phyllis.
