Donna Marie Kuhl, 94, passed away on June 8, 2021 in Clio, Michigan. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio on July 1, 2021 at 11am. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Paul Mabry. Donna was born in Flint, Michigan to Donald and Catherine Purcell on March 28, 1927. She married Lloyd “Jim” Kuhl on September 28, 1953. After being a stay at home mom, Donna became a Nurse’s Aide at St. Luke’s Hospital in Saginaw where she worked for 17 years. She was a care giver at heart, after retiring, Donna spent several years being care giver to her parents. She enjoyed being with her family, playing old maid with grandchildren, watching western movies, dining out and all things Elvis! Donna is survived by her children: Kimberly (Michael) Spalla, Lori (Becky Davis) Kuhl, James Kuhl, Gail Lawler; grandchildren: Kristopher Paulson, Sonia (David) Brown, Heather Spalla, James (Meghan) Kuhl, Cassandra McLaughlin, Stephanie (Andrew McGuire) Kuhl and Tanna Holtzmann; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Flynn; and many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Kuhl; daughter, Linda McKay; son-in-law, James McKay; sister, Shirley Winston; and brother, James Purcell, DDS. |
