NAGANASHE, Ann (Verhaeghe) Bigler – of Davison, MI, age 94, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 AM Monday, September 11, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Carl Simon officiating. Interment immediately following in St. John Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Sunday, September 10, 2017 and 10-11 AM Monday, September 11, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home.
Ann was born in Essexville, MI on August 22, 1923, daughter of the late Gaston and Dora (Martin) Verhaeghe. She married Donald Bigler in September 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1992. Ann then married Joseph Naganashe in March 1994. She has been a resident of Davison, MI since 1954. Ann was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She loved roller skating, dancing, riding her bike and ironing clothing.
Ann is survived by her husband of 23 years, Joseph; 9 children, Michael (Elda) Bigler, Martha (Rick) O’Dell, Paul (Valeta) Bigler, Matthew (René) Bigler, Margaret Bigler, Rosemary (Daniel) Williams, Madonna (Larry) Bouchillon, Patricia (Tim) Burns and Veronica Whalen; 18 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Marie Zacharias; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Byrum in 2014; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
