WOLFORD, Drema Marcella - Age 81, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton (A live Stream of the service will be available on Drema's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Pastor J.C. Hager officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton.
Drema was born January 12, 1941 in Fayette County, West Virginia, the daughter of Raymond and Lula (Wilson) Fox. She married Franklin Delano Wolford May 29, 1960 in Pike County, WV and he preceded her in death July 27, 2001. She had resided in Fenton for the past 60 years coming from Chicago, IL and West Virginia. Drema was a member of Deerfield Primitive Baptist Church. She enjoyed canning, crocheting, woodworking, and listening to gospel music.
Surviving are: her children, Ritta (Dan) Taylor of Holly, Stella Wolford of Fenton, Rose (John) Earley of Fenton, Deana Goss of Grand Blanc, Francine Wolford of Fenton and Franklin C. (Cassie) Wolford of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, DeeLynn, Rebecca, Sarah, Danielle, Terence "Terry", Joshua, Lucas, Jonah, Bree, Baylee Nicholas, Chloe and Conner; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; mother, Lula Fox of West Virginia; siblings, Ramona (Larry) Woolridge of North Carolina, Wanda (Roger) Crouse of Virginia, Tracy (Sue) Fox of Virginia, Richard Fox of West Virginia, Lisa Trent of Virginia and Joyce Fox of West Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and good friend, Lois Hager of Fenton.
She was also preceded in death by her father, Raymond Fox; grandsons, Charles Stewart and Daniel Taylor, Jr. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
