Lowell E. Swartz, 79 years old passed away September 28, 2023 in Flint, MI. Lowell was born in Omer, MI on March 3, 1944 to Joe and Naomi Swartz. Lowell and Rosemary were united in marriage on November 27, 1991. Lowell retired from GM after 42 years, receiving many achievements and awards during his career. Lowell played Rugby for the Flint Rogues for many years, was an avid golfer, played Texas Hold-em and loved to travel. Lowell is survived by loving wife, Rosemary, 3 (step children) Scott (Susan) Adam, Kristin (Chad) Barnes, Anthony Adam. 5 Grand-children, 8 Great-grand-children. Sister, Gloria (Clint) Kinsell, brothers, Keith (Judy) Swartz, Ron Swartz. Many nephews, nieces, cousins. Special friends Al, Bob, Ken, and Howie, and to many more to mention. Lowell was predeceased by his parents, brother, J. Dennis, brother-in-law Travis, sisters-in-law, Analee Swartz, Lucretia Swartz, Jeanne Worthington. Lowell was loved by many and will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Riverside Mennonite Church, 3620E. Twining Rd., Turner, MI 48765. Service will be recorded and available on YouTube @ Riverside Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lowell's name to
the church or Charity of Choice. |
