PALMER Carole M. of Atlanta, Georgia (formerly Flushing, Michigan) died Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. The funeral service will be held 10AM Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road Swartz Creek. Visitation will be on Friday, October 1 from 3pm to 6pm and from 9am to 10am on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors at
www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Carole was born in Flint, Michigan on August 28, 1944. She married Ward D. Palmer on May 17, 1968 in Flint, Michigan. Carole retired from Genesys Health System after serving over 30 years as a registered nurse. Surviving are: daughter, Jennifer, and son, Matthew, both of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Barbara and husband, Craig Suchanek, of Flushing; brother, Mark Novak, of Grand Blanc; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ward D. Palmer, sister, Marilyn Novak, brothers, Edwin and Joseph Novak, parents Helen and Joseph Novak.
