PHILLIPS, Norman “Pete” – of Otisville, MI, age 79, passed away on June 22, 2020. A Visitation will be held at Davison Missionary Church, 1481 North Gale Road, Davison, MI 48423 on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11AM-2PM. Burial will take place directly following the visitation at Smith Hill Cemetery.
Pete was born in Newberry, MI on October 20, 1940, son of the late Jack and Helen (Shelson) Phillips. He married Josephine Pickering on December 20, 1958 in Lapeer, MI. Pete loved boating, fishing, occasionally playing cards and most of all loved spending time with his family. He retired from GM in 1993 after many years of service.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Josephine; sons, Jeffrey (Michelle), Mark (Lori), Pete (Denise) and Steven “Toot” (Julie); seven grandchildren, Levi, Krystal, Amanda, Jennifer, Jody, Terri and Alison; 17 great-grandchildren; many other loving family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joanne Campbell, John, Paul, Chuck and Barbara Hathaway.
