MILLER, Kris Wayne - Age 69, of Fenton, passed away August 24, 2022. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Salvation Army. Kris was born October 5, 1952 in Flint, the son of Alvin Robert and Lois Lucille (Sparks) Miller. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a U.S. Navy Diver. Kris owned and operated KMI Building Inspection and retired from the City of Flint. He served on the State Board of Housing Officials and State Board of Home Inspectors. He was an avid outdoorsman. Kris also enjoyed cruises and Broadway shows. He is survived by his son, Zachary Miller; sister, Tamara Miller; brother, Bradley (Kathy) Miller; nieces and nephews.
