LACHAPELLE, DIANA LYNN – Of Flint, age 65, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at McLaren-Flint.
Diana was born in Flint, Michigan on March 23, 1958, the daughter of Wendall and Doris Martin.
She was the beloved wife of Steven LaChapelle; mother of Kandi Duford, Craig Stevens and Patsy Holder;
grandmother of Jamison Adja Holder, Joshua Holder, Samya Holder, Jacoby Holder, Alissa Lynn and Sydney Stevens;
great-grandmother of Chloe Holder, Joshua Jr. Holder, Maverick Lynn; sister of David (Mike) Martin, Patrick Martin, Wendy Manley, Rose Caruso, Deborah Wartella, Randy Martin, Lee Etta Kassing, Mary Ng, Kimberly Eaton, Terry Martin, Jennifer Thomas;
aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Diana was a Medical Assistant for over 25 years. She primarily worked with residents and urgent care on occasion.
She loved animals, especially her dog, Bella and cat, KitKat.
She enjoyed reading, blasting oldies and singing in the car and catching a good deal while garage saling.
Diana was sassy, stubborn and not afraid to tell it like it is! She was also sensitive and funny and known to crack an inappropriate joke from time to time.
She was very special and loved by many and will be missed dearly.
