Borowiak, Alex John - Age 71, of Flushing, died December 16, 2022. Memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Alex was born January 21, 1951 in Flint the son of Alex Victor Borowiak and Joyce Marie (Pike) Borowiak. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He married Debra Ann Phelps on May 24, 1975 in Flint. Alex was an Engineer retiring from General Motors. He enjoyed sports with his kids, and was an avid outdoorsman. Surviving are: his wife of 47 years, Debra; their two children, Alex James Borowiak of Flushing; Allison Joyce (Vicente) Montanez of New Mexico; grand-daughter, Penelope James Montanez; sister Lena Ardizzona of Arizona.
