Willah Jo VanWagner
Age 82 of New Lothrop passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at McLaren Flint.
A Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 19, 2021 at the New Lothrop Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at McGeehan Funeral Homes New Lothrop Chapel on Sunday, April 18th from 2:00 to 6:00pm.
Willah was born on July 12, 1938 to Charles and Myrtle (Sanborn) Lare in Flint. She graduated from New Lothrop High School and attended Baker College. Willah married the love of her life, Clarence VanWagner, on November 24, 1956; he predeceased her in 2018 after 61 years of marriage.
Willah was a loving homemaker all her life. She loved camping, trips to Florida, and bowling. She was involved with the TOPS group and the Lions Club, and she was a member of the New Lothrop Church of the Nazarene.
Willah is survived by her children, William (Janice) VanWagner, Daniel (Pam) VanWagner, Scott (Lynn) VanWagner, James (Kaylene) VanWagner, Shawn VanWagner, Shannon Lehr (Bill Craig), and Craig (Gina) VanWagner; her 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence; her son, Robert VanWagner; her parents; and her brother, Beverly.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the New Lothrop Nazarene Church or the Twin Township Ambulance.
