BOND, Peggy Joyce – of Flushing, age 80, died Monday, June 14, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital of Grand Blanc. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at O’ Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
Peggy was born June 30, 1940 in Malden, Missouri to the late D.D. and Lola (Hudgens) Reed. She grew up in Malden, Missouri and then moved to Michigan. Peggy attended school in Flint, Michigan. In 1995, Peggy married Allen Bond and he preceded her in death in 2012. She was a member of the New Haven Baptist Church in Burton, Michigan where she served on the Hospitality Committee, was a Youth Leader, and taught Sunday School for years. Peggy enjoyed playing softball, and loved going out with her friends to do things.
Surviving are: Children, Debra (Joe) Lockwood, William (Deborah) Hostetler, Lisa (Joe) Miller; Grandchildren, Jerry Lockwood, Brandon Hostetler, Travis Hostetler, Derek Maziarz, Brett Maziarz, Chloe Hostetler, Brianna Maziarz; Great Grandchildren, Ayden Hostetler, Brayden Maziarz, Bailey Maziarz, Blake Maziarz, Ella Maziarz, Liam Hostetler; Sisters, Wilma (Roger) Brown, Kay (Eric) Stantiford; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Allen Bond; Grandson, Jason Lockwood; Siblings, Paul Reed, Sue Reed.
