Nancy L. Carpenter of Flint, formerly Naples, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Nancy was born January 12, 1931 to Harold and Vera [Stuart] Wyman. Nancy worked at General Motors Ternstedt. Nancy loved sunny Florida! She was an amazing seamstress that loved to sew. She enjoyed music, dancing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was joined in marriage on April 29, 1950 to Lloyd Carpenter, and together they had three sons.
Nancy is survived by her sons: Gary Carpenter, Randy (Lisa) Carpenter, 7 grandchildren: Torri, Candice, Stephanie, Brian, Nick, Matthew, and Ian, 2 sisters: Sandra Alexander, Sally (Mick) Kildea, and special niece Patty Dell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Terry, twin sister Patsy, other siblings: Ann, Mary Jane, and Tommy. The family would like to thank all of Nancy’s caregivers, especially Kacee for the loving care @ Suncrest Nursing Home - Memory Care Unit.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Nancy’s Life will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
