Alan D. MacFadden, of Flushing, Michigan age 78, died suddenly on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at his home. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Joshua Gates will officiate. Burial to follow at Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday, January 16 at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service.
Alan was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on January 2, 1944 to Charles and Genoa MacFadden. He married Ellen Kirby on July 18, 1964. He retired from a career of teaching at Flushing Schools after 30 years. He loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren.
Alan is survived by his wife 57 years, Ellen; son, Ryan (Leslie) MacFadden and their children, Logan and Madison; daughter, Andrea MacFaddden; mother, Genoa MacFadden; siblings, Howard (Carole) MacFadden, Denis MacFadden, Neil (Tami) MacFAdden, Carole (Cowboy) Suda, and Ralph (Alice) MacFadden; sisters-in-law, Linda MacFadden and Dianne Kirby; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles MacFadden and brother, David MacFadden. |
