STORK, Vivian C. - age 77, of Byron, died January 25, 2024. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, MI 48473 with Rev. Barbara Benjamin officiating. Interment will follow at Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be held 11 AM - 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Gaines United Methodist Church. Vivian was born November 16, 1946 in Franklin, NC, the daughter of John E. and Virginia Eloise (David) Woodall. She worked for the Mott Family of Flint straight out of high school and for many years. She then became a Paralegal and worked for several Flint attorneys retiring from the Law Office of John A. Zintsmaster, PLLC. Vivian was very active in Gaines United Methodist Church. She and her husband, Richard were Master Gardeners. She was an avid learner and the most caring person who always put others first. Surviving are: husband, Richard Stork; sisters, Genevieve (Robert) Owensby and Diane Butler; niece, Tosha (Richard) Kagle; nephew, David J. (Imelda) Slinkard; Richard's children, Christine (Michael) Tobias, Richard P. (Ruby) Stork, Robert (Kelly) Stork, Stephen Stork, and Caroline Stork; and their children, Kyle, Emily, Ethan, Audrey and Amelia. She was preceded in death by her father, John E. Woodall in 1989 and mother, Virginia Eloise Woodall in 2020. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com |
